The Nutcracker Cracked
It’s Christmas Eve and Clara’s 13th birthday. Mayhem and enchantment soon take over as her Uncle Drosselmeyer brings a magical gift awaking her fondest dreams.
Join Clara and her little brother Fritz as the entire house comes alive while they attempt to decorate the tree. Set to the classical music of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet with over 84 dazzling, transforming rod puppets, this show is a holiday treat for the entire Family.
The puppet show is approximately 38 minutes long, perfect for the little ones. Our indoor puppet theater seats 26 guests. We even have little chairs for the smaller kids.
All ages shows are $15.00 per person, 3 years and up.
Online tickets are printed by us and available for pick up at the Puppet Museum door before the show. Theater doors open for tickets and seating at 1:30PM. Show begins at 2:00PM.
Additional Info on Adults Night Out
This Holiday Season the Portland Puppet Museum will present “Adults Night Out” with The Nutcracker Cracked by the Olde World Puppet Theatre. Sometimes you just have to leave the kids behind and spend a wacky but enchanting evening with friends!
This show was originally designed and created for a corporate holiday party, based on a parody of the Oregon Ballet’s The Nut Cracked. It’s so over the top with snarky and fun situations we can’t believe it is real sometimes. This show is extremely popular and has been a feature in the Portland Puppet Museum’s “Adult Night Out” series over the past nine years.
Tickets are $25.00 per person (ages 21+) and includes wine tasting by Firstleaf Winery and IPAs from a local Oregon brewery. So why not grab a friend and come on out for some adult theater with us?
Doors open at 7:30 for a half hour meet and greet party. Show starts at 8:00pm. Our indoor puppet theater seats 28 guests.
