Fantasy Rod Puppet Workshops
Come join us for our fun and exciting new Fantasy Rod Puppet Workshop. Perfect for beginners and young kids as they explore and create charming new rod puppets of their own!
You have seen these before. You and your children have played with these in the museum and during our live puppet shows. Now we are presenting a brand-new workshop. Using stuffies, dolls and various toys and fabrics, this simple workshop for adult beginners and kids allows you to create your very own rod puppet in just three hours. All materials are included as Steve and John take you on a grand adventure into the world of puppets on sticks. These puppets are perfect for children 5 yrs to adults.
The cost is $45 per student. Parents are welcome to us assist young kids and adults and you will have a ball creating something special and new from our materials. This workshop is held inside the Portland Puppet Museum.
